Art & Jake's Sports Bar Clarkston

Food was OK and portions were large, large enough to have twice for leftovers. We would definitely go back again if we were looking for the sports bar type of food and environment. Service was great, really friendly and attentive. We had burnt end tacos, chicken 🌮 and boneless wings. Wasn't crazy about the sweet chili sauce, it wasn't put on the wings as well as some other places.

It's definitely a sports bar environment. We went there to catch a key game and some food. It was packed. We were lucky enough to get a table. Service wasn't bad for the volume of people that were there. Employees were friendly. Food came out hot and was pretty good. We had apps, dinner, and dessert. We had the steak bites as an appetizer. They were pretty good. My son loved the Power Bowl. He said it was very flavorful. I had the Nacho Supreme. They were just an average nacho. My least favorite thing was the turtle cheesecake. I didn't care for the crust on this. My son had the Double Chocolate Bliss. It was too much for one person, but he enjoyed it. It could definitely be sharable.

If I could give this place a 10, I would. My wife and our friends came here about 430 on a Wednesday afternoon, and we were seated immediately. However, it got packed before 600, so you know that's a good sign. The food is superb. I had the "proper" burger; awesome! My wife ordered the salad with pecan chicken. It was delicious my wife said, but we had to take some of it home. You won't go home hungry. We ordered a "slice" of chocolate cake for dessert, but it was more like a half of cake, so we took some of that home too. Our two friends loved the place too. A special shout out to our server, Carly. The atmosphere is great! The Clarkston location is the place to be!!

There was about 15 of us that went to Art and Jakes in Clarkston on Sunday for a Detroit Lions game. We arrived a few hours early knowing there would be many people coming for the game and got a great spot in the bar area. Our waitress, Kendall, was nothing short of outstanding. The place got absolutely packed for the game, and we had different groups joining our table throughout the day, and this girl never got rattled or lost the friendly smile on her face. If we needed an extra chair or two, management was on it. From someone who spent 16 years in the restaurant industry, I know when people just get it right and they do. The food is great too, but the service is what I call "winning at the margins". It was such a fun atmosphere and a great time. My group had many compliments about the team. If your in the area or looking for a stop on your way to Pine Knob or to watch sports, I highly recomment you stop in.

A+J's is the #1 new restaurant you must visit to enjoy phenomenal eats and drinks! The menu is very diverse with many instant classics. This is my favorite gastro pub ALL TIME! I have eaten at the Sterling Heights and Shelby locations many times and have always had excellent service and amazing food. The Clarkston location just opened and they are a must try! On the second day they opened Victoria was our friendly and attentive server. The Shawarma Chicken Flatbread and El Paso Steak Wrap are both delicious! Get in the car now and go experience a spectacular new joint! You won't be disappointed. Update 12/22/22: Stopped in for a 3rd time and had another enjoyable experience. The chicken nachos and buffalo chicken wrap were sensational! Stephanie our server introduced us to the general manager Alfie and the owner Victor. Very nice and personable owner. You can tell he really cares about providing great service and even better food. All of these google 5 star reviews are legit!
